Kinetic Typography for Monster Energy Drink

As a first foray into Kinetic Typography combined with After Effects compositing and masking techniques, I used this Monster Energy project as a chance to refine my skills. Given free reign over this exploration, I experimented with different rotoscoping and text effects to create an upbeat, energetic ad spot that can deliver the electrifying feeling of Monster Energy drinks.

Rotoscoping and Compositing
During the video creaion process, After Effects rotoscoping was used to cut the character out to overlay onto text, making a deeper impact in the composition without large text obscuring the content.
Kinetic Typography
Text duplication, snappy motion systems, and other typography explorations were used to generate and enhance new scenes out of found footage and letters.
Realtime Spline 3D experience
Utilizing Spline's new shape blending system, an interactive experience with the Monster Energy drink can was created, providing a fun way of experiencing and appreciating the drink.
